You’re less than 5 minutes from the ferry that takes you directly to Canal Street downtown and the French Quarter, making it easy to explore Bourbon Street, music venues, restaurants, and nightlife—while still coming back to a peaceful retreat. Nearby, you’ll also find grocery stores, shopping centers, fitness centers, and popular spots like Smoothie King Center.

Welcome to our beautifully renovated historic 1901 home in Algiers Point, just minutes from downtown New Orleans and the French Quarter via ferry. This spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bath house is designed for comfort, family gatherings, and memorable stays.

Each bedroom has its own theme:

Jazz Room – featuring a 3D mural that comes to life with special glasses.

Mardi Gras Room – festive and vibrant, celebrating New Orleans culture.

Quarter View Room – includes both a full-size and twin bed, ideal for families or groups.

The Gumbo Kitchen includes a 4D mural of a local cook, fully stocked cookware, modern appliances, coffee maker, and everything you need to enjoy home-cooked meals. The open living area provides a cozy sofa bed, central air conditioning, WiFi, and TVs in the master bedroom and living room.

Outside, relax on the front porch or enjoy the backyard deck with BBQ grill and outdoor furniture. Families will love the nearby park, just two blocks away. Free street parking is available, and safety features include smoke & CO detectors, fire extinguishers, and a first aid kit.

This home is stocked with linens, towels, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and even extras like board games, washer/dryer, and optional bikes (available on request).

Are there any additional facilities onsite?
Guests have full access to the home, front porch, backyard, and deck. The only restricted space is the shed in the back, which is used for storage of cleaning products and supplies. For safety reasons, it is not accessible to guests.

How can I get here?
Our home is in Algiers Point, just minutes from downtown New Orleans. Guests can enjoy free street parking if driving, and the Algiers Ferry is less than 5 minutes away, offering a quick and scenic ride directly to Canal Street and the French Quarter. Rideshares like Uber and Lyft are widely available, and local bus routes connect to nearby shopping centers and attractions. The neighborhood itself is walkable, with parks, cafés, and shops just a short stroll away.
What are the house rules?
Check-in is any time after 4 PM.
Check-out is at 10 AM. Please note that a late Check-out without authorization will lead to a night-rate cost penalty, that could be deducted from your security deposit.
Parties are fully prohibited. QUIET TIME FROM 10 PM TO 6 AM.
$300 penalty for smoking on the property. You will also be dismissed from your rental without a refund.
$250 penalty if noise level, parties, or other obscene behavior requires a police callout. You will also be dismissed from the property without a refund.
$100 Penalty for leaving trash outside the entrance to your property. Once your trash cans are full, please deposit trash in the large trash cans located at the building entrance.

Please do not throw trash or paper towels or toilet paper in the toilet to avoid clogging. Please use the trash can 🙂
Damage to the interior of the property or common areas will result in a pro-rated auto-chargeback from your booking account
On checkout please turn off the lights, the A/C unit, water, and gas/stove, and lock the door behind you

Penalties will automatically be withdrawn from your security deposit and/or your booking account.
